1st Wedding Anniversary, Kangaroo Valley

We tossed around a few ideas of where to go to celebrate our first 12 months as a married couple, but with Lauren’s pregnancy and budgets, we decided that we would return to Crystal Creek Meadows in Kangaroo Valley.
It was an amazingly relaxing weekend spent pottering through the valley, enjoying some incredibly fine food at Cafe Bella and Jing Jo restaurants, and a little bit of bushwalking around the river.
I simply can’t recommend Sophie and Chris from Crystal Creek Meadows enough. There’s no wonder in my mind as to why they would win the National Tourism Award – everything about them is fantastic, from the friendly welcome to the cottages to the local tips. If you’re ever heading to Kangaroo Valley, do yourself a favour and stay there.
As for us – well, we know we’ll be back. Not sure when, but hopefully sooner rather than later…
